chevyracing Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 I have a question regarding the BurstBucker pickups in my 2006 59 VOS. (As well as my 2007 GO 60 VOS) Are the BurstBuckers that are installed at the factory wax potted? From what I understand the aftermarket Burstbuckers are not wax potted but the pickups installed at the factory are. If you could clarify I would appreciate. Thanks in advance. Custom Admin Posted February 6, 2008 Share Posted February 6, 2008 no, i am not. i know that when our Part and Accessories division first started marketing the BBs as aftermarket parts they were NOT potted, but i think that has changed. to find out for sure, it would be best to contact Gibson Customer Service, as they have access to info regarding all our divisions and i do not. they are at 1-800-4gibson or service@gibson.com Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
