GibbyJoe
Does anyone here know where to get a different pickguard for the sj200 modern classic? I don't like the wheat flowers on this one and want one just black or pearloid.
ksdaddy
Bunch of guards! I didn't see black but they might have it if you ask... seems odd if they didn't. There's a guy on ebay, I think his user name is dasbootman.... Brian something or other. He does just about any guard known to mankind and some that aren't. Jayla
There is a very nice variety of pickguard shapes and materials available from Terrapin. Check 'em out. I personally find the fire strip guards used the Smoky Mountain Guitars to be really attractive. Here's an example of one. Nice!
GibbyJoe
thanks for that link to terrapin. They have the styles for acoustic guitar and the shape of the sj200 pickguard, but it looks like the same for the j45 j150 and j50. are they all the same size and will they fit the sj200 mc I wonder

And if you do, let us know -- others (like myself :D ) may be interested as well.
GibbyJoe
yep just did that. let ya know when they get back to me. they have some nice materials there all with adhesive backing just what I am looking for. thanks!!! I read on here somewhere how to take the pickguard off with a blow dryer and dental floss and I am going to give it a try. I'm sure there will be glue and stuff gooped on it so what's the best solvent to use to get that off??
Jayla
Check here for instructions on how to remove a pickguard. You'll probably find an answer to your question there. Good luck!
