Hi, I have managed to get my hands on a 2006 Gibson Led Paul Custom John Sykes inspired by model one of the fully aged ones. My question is does anybody know what the black wire is for that comes from underneath the bridge pickup ring and wrapps around the stop tail mounting screw? I'm guessing it is there to make the guitar period correct for John's actual guitar. Kind regards Dave.
