Thanks so much, I spoke to an authorized Gibson repair man in town yesterday and he said the same thing. I’ll most likely go with wood glue. A very very thin strip of it to not affect the look of the paper if I can help it. BTW, the guitar sounds absolutely amazing!

Picked mine up today on my lunch break, literally only had time to pick it up inspect It and take it home. I’m a little bummed as the signed serial number sticker on the inside lost its adhesive and has peeled up. Tried to push it back down but the adhesive is shot. I’m literally still at work and haven’t had time to play it yet. If anybody has any tips on how to get the sticker to stay down I’m all ears. I hate to mess with it too much. I should have time to play it tomorrow. Congrats to everybody who Has located one In the last couple days.

Gotcha, I would think Guitar Center would honor the preorders first based on the first come first serve method based on the allotment received, crossing my fingers. I reached out to my SA to see if there are any updates on his end.

Thanks for the info, hoping my preorder is one that is making its way or has made its way to KC for web order distribution. I wonder if 8 went to stores because there were only 12 preorders?

My experience was so so with GC, I tried to order one back in March and April only to be turned away by sales reps as they couldn’t see it in their system. I spoke to a rep in late May who reached out to Gibson and the Gibson rep provided the item number for the rep to place an order. I ordered it back in late May but I’m unsure if I’m going to get one. golfski, I think if you got an email stating it’s getting prepared to be shipped you should be fine! I have not gottten one of those. I would be curious as to where the other two are going if GC is only getting three! I will sit back and wait, I’m definitely not going to hold my breath.

All, I’ve followed the search for this guitar since it was teased back in March. I reached out to a Gibson rep on the day the teaser video was released and the Rep told me to reach out to a dealer which I did, I usually buy my guitars through Guitar Center but twice I called since March to be told they could not order since it was not in their system. I finally spoke with a rep from Guitar Center in late May who went out of his way to track down the item number and placed a preorder for the Guitar, I don’t think this guarantees me a guitar but I’ve placed the preorder with payment and have the confirmation of my preorder and now I’m just crossing my fingers I actually get one, time will tell. I wish everybody luck in their search for this guitar!
