I feel very fortunate to own one of these Crimson series L-5s. It feels, plays and sounds great. It's everything I expected it to be and more, acoustically and plugged in. It was VERY hard to find one, specially in immaculate condition. It took months, but eventually I lucked out and came across the ad online before someone had already snagged it. The price was below retail too, which I understand is not always the case. Came with OHSC and Crimson Gibson certificate, I've been playing it non-stop since it came in. I have been almost exclusively playing '51 Emperors for decades, this is a whole new world for me.
(Interesting fact that made me hesitate a second, before I called Gibson in Nashville and was reassured by them: these are NOT always stamped with the serial # on the back of the headstock. Solely on the label inside)
