Today there are many Chinese classic 57 replica pickup in the market, so my concern is not overthinks. If you know the way to check if that pickup is not fake, please let me know.

I would like to know which year Gibson change pickup package from plastic box to be paper box? I suspect the pickup i bought from a seller , because pickup date not related to the year Gibson launch paper package box.

Another question i asked is how about the package? The package is plastic (not paper box as show in Gibson page) and sticker show “106285 01/21/22 “ is it valid?

I bought a Nickle classic 57 plus 9k pickup on November2023 and got this package which is plastic box and mark “double black” behind the box as show in the picture. Behind the pickup i see sticker showing 01/21/22 106285
