  1. I'm having trouble determining what Gibson uses for treble bleed on its PCB control circuits. I ask because I've never had good luck with adding treble bleed circuits but the two Les Pauls I've had with circuit boards worked very nicely in this department. Does anyone know what value the cap is and is a resistor used with it? Looks to me like there's just a cap but that seems odd. Someone said 500pf with a 150K across it works best but there are a thousands of other combos that others swear by too. I have a Les Paul with classic PTP pots to which I would like to add whatever treble bleed parts are on those factory PCBs. Thanks.
  2. I signed up last week and should have done this then but better late than never... Been playing Fender guitars since I got a used Stratocaster in 1966 (still have it). Since day one I pined over Gibsons. I played in bands with guys with Gibsons. Finally about 5 yeas ago I bought a used Les Paul Studio. I of course liked it a lot. Recently I bought a 2019 Les Paul Classic and I'm very happy with it. These guitars fill a void that the Fenders didn't and visa versa. I'll just add that as nice as the Classic is, the Studio with Burstbucker Pros is killer. Thanks for having me.
  3. I straightened it. Used Titebond and a toothpick. Made a new pilot hole. Took... like 15 minutes. I let the glue harden overnight. Being tilted up toward the G (in Gibson) was not something I could un-see. Thanks for the replies, everyone.
  4. I recently acquired a 2019 Les Paul Classic that I am very happy with. It's my 2nd Less Paul. Although I've been very happy a the quality, I noticed that the D tuner (Grovers) is lightly off - rotated by about half the width of the anti-rotation screw hole which tilts the key enough to be noticeable . When I set the tuner in at the correct angle I can see half of the screw hole in the tuner ear hole. I'm looking for recommendations for how to fill it so that I can make a new pilot hole right on the edge of the existing hole. TiteBond and toothpick end? Thanks for any advice. Ron Burati
