Contact Gibson and ask them and give them the serial number and their customer service should be able to help you.

My guitar arrived yesterday and it is perfect. All the spec's I had order on the guitar were correct. The wait was well worth it.
Thank you Gibson Acoustic Division for making outstanding guitars. There is nothing like a Gibson!

I called Gibson today and got my answer that I needed. Great customer service at the Bozeman plant.😊

The only difference is that I ordered a dark rosewood fretboard and Grovers, with no electronics. Yes I already paid for the guitar in full when I ordered it. I emailed Gibson and have not heard anything back from them yet.

I have contacted my dealer and I get the answer. it's in production.

I just noticed that Fullers got several of the J180's in. I wonder when I will get mine that I had ordered in July 2022 at the Guitar Center in Nashville. I have heard nothing on where it is in production.

I bump into him from time to time at the GC in Nashville.

I ordered my M2M Gibson J180 based off of the Everly Brothers guitar on July 5th 2022 from GC in Nashville. I haven't heard anything yet on updates when I might possibly receive this beautiful guitar from the Montana plant. I wonder if anyone here on the board might be able to check and see when this guitar will arrive. My sales guy is Tony Higbee and he hasn't heard anything yet, but possibly it takes up to a year for me to get this guitar. I noticed the Montana plant has been kicking out new models lately and I am hoping my guitar will arrive soon. I love my Gibson guitars and I always wanted a J180. The Everly Brothers were so cool and I was lucky enough to see them perform at the Ryman years ago when they did a one off concert. Albert Lee was in their back up band and he is such a fantastic guitar player.😊

I got my Greeny standard today from GC and this guitar was worth the money I paid for it. It has a nice flame top and weights in at 8.6lbs, with some nice case candy. I wonder how many of these guitars will be built. Most of the dealers on the web that advertised that they had these guitars, are already sold out. So this guitar seems to be the must have at the moment. This guitar I got has a nice dark rosewood fretboard and the neck is chunky and feels goods in my hands. If you are able to get your hands on one of these guitars, you might probably want to purchase it.

I have on order a M2M J180 based off of the Everly Brothers model. I specifically ordered it without any pickups installed on it. I wanted a pure acoustic guitar. I should have it sometime this spring. It takes about a year to get it after ordering in it.

I love your Les Paul Custom. I would keep that bad boy. I am not fond of the Murphy guitars. I feel a Gibson is a work of art and there shouldn't be any dings or scratches on them. Gibson guitars are so pretty to look at and they sound fantastic! If someone was to give me a Murphy lightly relic Les Paul Lemon Burst. I would take it in a heart beat. I just can not afford the pricing on those guitars, so I have to tell myself not to like them.

The certificate is there. I just remember getting other stuff when I would buy Custom Shop guitars from Gibson. Oh well, at least the guitar is fantastic and I am extremely happy with my purchase.

I am still going to contact Gibson after all the holiday stuff is over with. I spend a lot of money buying Gibson guitars and at least they can give the customer a few nice items in the case.
-
I asked about it and I was told Gibson wasn't putting anything in the cases except for the paper hang tags and reissue copies from the 50's that were in the guitar back then.

I am going to contact Gibson Customer service after the first of the year and ask them what is supposed to come with this guitar, since I did pay good money for it. I like getting swag!

Last Friday on the spur of the moment, I purchased a Gibson Custom Shop 1958 Gloss Plain Top Lemon Burst Les Paul Standard from GC in their platinum room. What a beautiful guitar and the quality of the craftsmanship is perfect. I wish Gibson would have put some nice case candy to go with it, like a strap, polishing cloth, and a few Gibson guitar picks for the price I paid for this guitar. Oh well, maybe a rep will see this posting and reach out to me and send me some swag for Christmas. Anyway, I am very happy with my purchase and the Nashville Guitar Center has a great selection of Gibson's in their platinum room. Merry Christmas to me!

I did not order pickups in it. I wanted a pure acoustic guitar.

I have several J200's and J45's, J160E, Ephiphone USA Texan, and numerous other acoustic's. I have always wanted a J180 in my collection. Each acoustic has their own sound that I own. I like to have a variety to choose from when recording or playing out live.

I always wanted a J-180 regardless what the sound is. A lot of people play this guitar and I will be in good company with them!

It is based off of the reissue Gibson did a few years ago, except I am having a dark rosewood fretboard and grovers.

I put my order in this past July for a M2M Gibson Acoustic J180 based off of the Everly Brothers guitar. I finally had to have one made, due to not finding any dealers with this guitar in their inventory. I can not wait for this guitar to arrive. I am hoping I might see it in the spring of 2023. I haven't heard anything from my dealer yet if this guitar has even gone into production. I may try contacting the Bozeman plant after all the Christmas stuff is over with. Any one else lusting for one of these guitars?
J180 Everly Brothers new edition?

Does anyone know if a new Everly Brothers J180 will be coming out soon? This is not the J200 edition that came out earlier with the double white pick guards.
