  1. Hi, I'm new here. I have a Epiphone By Gibson Sheraton. There is no sticker on the back, but I'm not the first owner. Mine is in stunning condition, aging nicely, binding yellowing. It's tobacco sunburst, tortoise shell pickguard, both logos inlaid. Mine has gold hardware and smokey transparent hats in the pots. Looks like an 87 to me. I'll see if I can get some photos. The original pickups were shocking. I replaced them with A Gibson Classic 57 in the neck, and a T98 Hot Alnico in the bridge. I still have the originals in boxes - nice and safe. The improved pickups really brought the guitar to life, but I feel the GIbson T98 pickup is just too hot for the guitar. It's been in for about 4 years, but I need to out another Classic 57 in it's place to nail the tone. It's a nice guitar. Cheers Mr Marlin
