  1. I agree with jonnyg, you have a great voice that could very well compliment the great array of instruments, but its too far back.
  2. i've got the 30 watt model and Honestly when I got it I loved it, but at the time i knew **** all about amps and what sounded good and such, NOW I hate it, So next week I'm getting myself a Jet City 20 watt Half stack, the JCA20H Head and JCA12S Cab, that would most certainly pull off what you are after it is an amazing amp for the price, when I cranked it up it was amazing, just purely amazing, and I tested it with a les paul too.
  3. Yeah the stick on inlays worked fantastic, when playing I can't feel that they are there. Heres where i got them from. Inlays
  4. I'd love a prophecy LP, but in australia theyre about $1200 and id be importing my LP from USA, and i am yet to come across one.
  5. I played one once and I didn't fancy the shape too much, bit big as well, plus I really want a les paul, ever since i've started playing guitar i've wanted a real les paul!
  6. Yeah im not a huge fan of floyd rose trems, and the blackback looks fantastic. I assume those 2 guitars are of equall quality, though the blackback being a Epiphone custom, would that mean that extra time has been put into these guitars?
  7. They're both amazing guitars to look at! I mostly play heavier stuff, Rock and Metal both modern and 80's. they arn't the most metal looking guitars but who cares about them, I have a soft spot for les pauls in general. I can't find any reviews of the blackback on youtube, do you guys have an experience with either or both guitars? Cheers guys.
  8. Thanks, the gold hardware would look amazing!
  9. aw thanks the "outlays" took about 30 minutes to put on, could of done them quicket but i wanted to be fairly carefull. The HB covers were simple, took them out, lay a soft cloth on the top of the guitar, used a sort of silicone (fairly unorthodox, but it works, i've seen others who have done it) and then put pressurized rubber nubbed clamps on them to hold the covers to the pickups and let the silicone cure for a few days.

  11. They far surpassed my expectations. I can hammer at the fret board and not a nick or rip on them, theyre great. cheers
  12. Ever get sick of your boring old guitar? Well i sure did! Added the vines of life and humbucker covers. Oddly enough the covers have barely effected the sound at all. and the vines of life fret inlays are actually decals but they are so thin that when you play you cant feel them and they are so strong that constant playing doesnt damage them.
  13. Yeah i was looking at the epi les paul nightfall with the emg hz pickups in it. watched some reviews, seems decent.
  14. Yeah im aware of that thanks bigneil
  15. Hey, I was just wondering if anyone has installed EMG's in their guitars since they have adopted the solderless design. Was just wondering if it would be easy enough for someone with little to no experience with installing pickups and wiring to do so with the solderless design?
  16. How would i go about them listing the packagin as such?
  17. how BAD are they? because at the moment MF is looking like my first and easiest option to get guitars from america? like so long as theyve never lost your guitars and such.
  18. Nice guitar you have there. Yeah i looked at there site but nothing I really fancy.
  19. Anything electrical meaning sotmhing that needs to be plugged into a power outlet yeah? not a guitar itself right?
  20. I was looking around on musicians friend, and alot of the guitars in the used section ship to australia (where as alot of the brand new guitars dont) would it be a bad idea to buy a used guitar from america? i assume it would have to past some sort of "quality control" so they know its deffinatly playable, and they tell you and show you the extent of the damage if there is any, which is usually only light scrathes. I was looking at en Epi LP Plus top pro fx for $399 plus $71 p&h which in totalt is $470, but in AUD is $460. And for that guitar in store in australia is about $
