I agree and totally understand not letting substandard stuff out of the factory , as has been pointed out , you cant blame a food factory for world hunger if they discard produce
but , whoever filmed it needs their arse kicked , I'm flabbergasted that anyone would think that's good PR to perhaps get it out there that they don't let substandard products out the door . Is the only reason I can think of for filming .
AND surely something couldve been done other than chop them up

Well... four Hummingbirds have come and gone for me, including the one I posted about earlier in this thread..
i do do have a Country Western now... which structurally is a Bird. But no cool guard. And not technically a Bird. Wait I shouldn’t be in here... I’ll show myself out.
Sure by the time you've made your way out the door you'll probably have bought another one

nah.. should not cause any issues to the back of the neck, the only thing over time that will be noticeable is more fret wear in places that normally wouldn't have any, or much but there's not any getting around that, it will still be years before you'd need to worry about getting the frets re-crowned.
I have a bunch of kysers, they work fine.
I also really like Gth7 (I have a Newport for my 12 string, works really good) as well as Thaila. (Have a few of those) Neither of these clamp down as hard as the Kyser, and the Thalia has string pads to match neck radius of many different brands which will improve intonation when using them.
if you really want to nutty get a drop D capo, and a short cut capo. You can do "stuff" with those bad boys that will keep you busy for days.
I do a couple tunes that COULD use a partial capo with drop D , but I just clamp the shubb on with the low E left untouched. Works fine

Used a capo for 25 years on various guitars
Never had a single issue
Stop reading internet

I like my bread bag clip better.
Here are the instructions
1: Buy bread.
2: Eat bread.
3: Put plastic clip on your guitar strap.
4: Rinse, repeat
They stopped using those over this side of the world years ago

Bring either one on the plane and then get a friend to post the other packages up one once you are happily camped
In fact, not either one , bring the one with the worst case as your hand luggage and post the other

iPad App for Guitar Tabs
in Gibson Acoustic
Posted
Tried a few but onsong is the only one that works 100% as it should
You can fudge around with the others and you will eventually , I suppose , have your songs on the ipad , but onsong user interface is streets ahead of the rest
Gets what ya pay for
