Mine has the blue label with X of 1962 and an imprinted SN on the back of the headstock.

 

 

 

SN Do you think that's the factory? Mine just has the quality assurance label on the headstock. The lettering on the blue label looks like someone Chinese might have written it.

Mine only has a number 424. This is a mystery, maybe they are made in different factories? I'm trying to upload a photo but I have no space left.

 

I'm also wondering how they got a serial number, because the one in the picture has the same blue label mine has and it doesn't have a serial number on it it has an "x of 1,962" on it. Can you find the serial number from anywhere else than the label inside the guitar?

They don't have serial numbers ..... they have numbers up to 1,962

 

 

All Epiphones are made in Indonesia, even the top flight ones?
