Wow, that's insanely cheap; wonder how much shipping is tho.. Plus, I don't like buying guitars without playing them first. The Epi SG is $399. Even tho the '06 is in better cosmetic shape (the pups r all shiney; the pups on the 99 r kinda rusty/oxidized, but they can prob be cleaned up easily w/ some type of solution), mid-00s Chinese Epi's kinda scare me. Plus, like I mentioned above, all the late 90 LPs I've owned treated me real nice like. Thanks for the response.

I'm looking into buying a Epiphone SG Custom, with the three humbuckers n' gold hardware. The shop has two, one from 1999 n' the other from 2006. Both r in pretty similar condition; the 06 is a bit cleaner cosmetically. They also play pretty similar. Is there anything I should know about the differences between these two models? The 06 clearly says made in China; the 99 has no make info, although if I'm not mistaken, they were made in Korea at the old Samick factory. Since both play pretty similar, I'm trying to find out everything I can about each before decided which one to grab (i.e. the electronics, etc). From experience w/ LPs, I've liked the late 90 Korea models better. I've never owned a Sg tho. Thanks, Adam
