  1. Check out Ryan Bingham, he is not obscure but not mainstream. Mescalito is my favorite album. Chris Knight is also one of my favorites, the trailer tapes II is my favorite, but there are a lot of good ones.
  2. Hi i'm Anna.

  3. Nice! That’s one of my favorite Tom Petty songs!
  4. Beautiful guitar! Congratulations!
  5. I like the old green one, but not enough to buy it! I think that color looks great on 335 style guitars, and would love to buy one of those
  6. I recently did this, and there are no holes on the back of the headstock for the tuner screws. Any new tuner will require new holes for the screws. Grover’s need one, kluson need two per tuner. The main hole is for modern tuners, that is why I went with the locking Grover’s. They come stock on the LP standard, so I figured they would be ok. Have you ever used the deluxe tuners? I have a couple guitars with them and they are awful after using the Grover’s. No where near as smooth and the gear ratio is lower so they are harder to fine tune. I have never used the revolution, but they look nice as well. I have been thinking of getting them for my es-LP to replace the Kluson Deluxe.
  7. I did it. I put on locking Grover’s. I did have to drill a hole but it was easy. Soooo much better now!
  8. That’s good to know. I guess it’s like most rules, there are always exceptions
  9. Three screws on the truss rod cover, and the headstock is poorly shaped. That’s a bad fake
  10. I put Grovers on my LP, and I think they are great. I did have to drill a hole because it had the robot tuners on it. I have read the Kluson Revolution are nice and no holes are needed if you have Kluson style tuners on it already.

I have the same model, its great! the neck is amazing, and the P90's sound so good!
  12. I have a 2016 traditional HP, and I really like it. I ditched the robot tuners, and they were stiff when used manually, and didn't tune correctly in auto mode. I put Locking Grover's on it and they are great. I like the access neck (but could easily live without it), and the quick detach pick guard is amazing, not sure why these are not more popular. Easy to take off without leaving holes or if you leave it on as I do, easy to clean/dust under. The wider neck is good, but again, not really an issue either way. I do appreciate the upgraded wood and real MOP inlays, I just think they look better. The 2018's have gotten pretty wild on colors and chrome, so I think I would pass, but I think the 2016 models are the peak of the HP guitars!
  13. I have a gold top ES-Les Paul with P90's and I really like it. It sounds different than my Les Paul, but it has Humbuckers, so it should! It's great, so light I love the neck and it sounds amazing! I don't know how it would compare to a 336 as I have never played one, but they are a cool guitar. If you search Reverb, there are still a few deals reaming from the great CME blow out!
  14. I reported this to Ebay and to Gibson. Dang, Imostly feel bad for the bidders, but that is a bad fake.
