Still listening to Russian Circles....what a cool band. Its too bad their music is overcompressed...i can deal with it in short doses but it gets to me after a while. They write cool songs though!

Better not let Josh Homme hear you call QOTSA Stoner Rock....he hates that term.
I don't consider them stoner rock anyway..not fuzzy enough. Kyuss, Fu Manchu, Nebula, Dozer, Unida etc are stoner rock.
Haha I know that's why I use it.
Not so much the fuzz man, its all about the feel.

I was the opposite...i loved it at first but i burned out on it wayyy too quickly. Maybe I should try again...its been a while..
Just sounds so much like Queens that i think it turned me off...

I mean I love the stuff, but when I first heard it, it just sounds like Homme. I mean, he is the front man and Grohl did drum for QOTSA, but I was hoping for more diversity.
Still, a stellar album. and for me, half the pleasure is getting to hear Grohl beat away on the drums for 45 minutes
