    New BFG Ebony

Dude! That’s tempting to pick up another, I got mine for $729...

I’d get a HB model and put some ******* covers on the pickups... I am not a Neanderthal.... We don’t have uncovered humbuckers in this household.

  2. The BFG Tremolo would go for $975 in mint condition.

    The BFG Gator, $875.

The BFG Limited Edition, LPLP 2007-2008, $2,500.

The BFG Limited Edition 2008, $1,000.

And finally, the original and first BFG, $850.

    Weird, I know.

This is according to Fjestad's Blue Book.

    :(

    That’s a confusing short history...

I got one of the newer p90 versions, I wish I had the humbucker in the bridge like the older version.

Very nice guitar. And well worth the clearance price.

  3. I can’t get over the body to neck ratio...

Here is a picture of anyone over 5’1” playing one...

So I'm joking and ridiculing the BluesHawk....

I'm meeting someone tonight about a possible trade for a trans black Epiphone...

I'm going to look like Leslie West playing a Ukelele...

    Monkey humping a tennis ball...

What other analogies can you think of?

  4. That is beautiful!

I wish I could find any explorer for sale!

They are super rare around these parts!

A Goth would be nice to have as is or to modify.

A local shop has a WAY overpriced beat to **** Goth V, but no explorer..... like thrown down several flights of stairs beat to ****...

I had to drown my sorrows in a Destroyer for now...

  5. UPDATE: The 2nd pair of thumb wheels worked perfectly! The set that came from Stewmac were a tighter fit so I used those under the bridge and use the original pair to snug up the posts to the bearings.

The bridge is rock solid and no longer sways back and forth.

Thank you again for the suggestion!

Be sure to tell everyone they are special "Tone Wheels".... "patent applied for"

  6. Of course I wish the guitar was $599 with a hardshell case, but wish in one hand....

The 2017 Pelham Blue standards like the one I have keep climbing in price... I luckily got mine way cheap brand new.

I’m not missing out on this one...

    Baby needs a little sister....

  7. I put brass ones with pretty pearloid buttons on my J-45 at my first string change 19 years ago, I doubt it did more than lighten my wallet.

2 years ago I put the original J-45 pins on my Fender Sonoran, I doubt it did much good there either, but it gave me something to do. Not sure if those were bone or plastic.

Now I have a set of black plastic Fender pins with a while dot on em I need to buy a guitar for.

It’s a viscous cycle we can never escape.

  8. I replaced the metal covers with black plastic, replaced the tuner buttons, replaced the wiring harness with one off some company on reverb.

I took enough extra wire out of the new harness to rewire two telecasters and still have some left over.

Then I traded it for a Silvertone 1449
