garer
My B string is just a hair lower than the E string. Up at the nut it seems fine but up the neck it seems to drop slightly. Just enough that I know it but not enough to see easily. I can feel it and sometimes I miss the string. Will adjusting the saddle bring that string up that hair I need? L5Larry
If your bridge saddles are grooved properly, then the fix is at the nut. This may not be a DIY project (for you), but the way fix a nut slot that is too deep is the fill it in by making a paste mixture of Super Glue and baking powder, and then re-groove it back down to the proper depth. If it's a bridge saddle problem, you can get a replace saddle and groove it to the right depth. Either one is a relatively inexpensive fix, even at the repair shop.
