bobouz
Made in Japan by Terada. Consistently high build quality. Often seen used for around $1200.
Dennis G
I bought my Elitist from Sweetwater almost 3 years ago. Recently added the Bigsby. It's made in Japan and the fit/finish/quality/etc. is on a par with anything else I own (Gibby, PRS, Carvin, etc.) and it has really become my "go to guitar" for the most part. Current street price (in the US) looks to be $1799. Can't say for used because I haven't shopped for one since owning this. Gotta agree with McCartney, if I could only have ONE guitar... GibsonWarrior
You dont state your location, but they are still available new and come up from time to time used both in the US and in Europe. They arent made in large quantities so you might have to wait a little. They are a definate level or three up fom the standard chinese and korean made models and well worth the upgrade if you can afford it. Definately on a par with Gibson semi's. Dennis G
They arent made in large quantities so you might have to wait a little. True that. Forgot to mention that I ordered my Elitist in May, first one arrived early Sept to Sweetwater but they found a ding during their inspection. I waited about another week or so for the next one. It's a sweetheart. SW rep said the same thing, they don't make a lot of them and they come in "spurts" so to speak. Hey Gibson, nice Casino!
