bram99 Posted August 17, 2013 Author Share Posted August 17, 2013 So far the biggest surprise is how well this guitar likes the plectrum. Both strumming and picking this guitar is loud with clear articulation and even volume across low-med-highs and on scales and picked arpeggios is rings like a bell but with that growl of the mahogany-adirondack spruce combo ...warm but not muddy with nice sustain... at first it seemed more oriented toward bare fingers, but now I think it's picker...much more versatile than I expected. Some of you will think I'm crazy but I see a firestripe pickguard in its future....or a lot of battle scars....haven't decided. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
