I asked (in the accessories forum) if Epiphone would produce a faux crocodile case

If you can't get a faux crocodile case, maybe you could train a real one to carry your guitar?

 

 

I might try to make a case, get some material, glue, big needle, scissors, heavy thread, thimble. I might use the box my Epi came in as a pattern.... hmm, Crusts custom faux hide cases, has a ring to it...why not. What to use for wood...1/8-1/4 oak, maple, pine ???something relatively light. I need velvet and a satin shroud too. and hinges, and claps and a lock, wood glue, corner protectors and small "feet"...this might be a good project. Does anyone offer "build your own" cases ? like a "guitar kit", only with cases ?
