It is played, and shows appropriate wear, but it is all original and all there and looks great to me. I never paid much attention to the "historic" Gibsons...what am I getting that makes this a "historic" guitar? This has the P90 bridge and Alnico neck pup, and looks to be in great playing condition. Brown Gibson case. FWIW, I had a chance to buy an original 54 LPC in the mid 1960's...it was in a pawn shop in Philly and I passed on it because I thought it was too much money...$450...
