09_339
Is it normal that the volume and tone knobs are really high on historics? It's like they aren't pushed down but seem to be, the bottom is like 3/8 inch off the body. Almost like they should have lampshades instead of normal top hats. The depth of the cavity route can vary, resulting in this. The easy answer is to remove the knob, undo the nut, pull the pot through, drop a few washers on to the shaft, reinsert the pot, tighten the nut and replace the knob. You should have a nice low knob now. Repeat on the other three pots and you're done.
