jvm1 Posted November 23, 2013 Share Posted November 23, 2013 Does anyone know with 100 percent certainty what the 2013 es-139 fingerboard is made of?.I see the spec says maple neck but is the fingerboard maple also or is it rosewood,ebony or richlite etc.Thanks! rockycreeker Posted December 6, 2013 Share Posted December 6, 2013 I just bought a new ES-139 and I wish I could tell what the fingerboard is made of, but I really can't. I do love the guitar though; I've been looking for a Gibson like this for years. I play Fenders a lot and love a single volume control, so this guitar really sounds great.
