bshilkitus
Hi to the all knowing. I am trying to decide between the Rusty, Memphis 59 VOS and the 59 dot reissue ES 335's. My main criteria is the chunky 50's neck. I will be playing mostly jazz (think Grant Green). There is a big price difference between the models. Different pups, etc. So, if you had $3000, would you guys go with a used 2009 ES335 59 VOS natural(available on EBAY, or a new Rusty? Thanks, Bill
6stringbobby
I'm pretty sure $3000. or close to it can buy you a new one. I have a 2012 59- ES-335 VOS that is the best ES I have ever had, Great fat 50's neck. Then a year later the price of these went through the roof. I think the Rusty Anderson probably has all the appointments you are looking for but so does the Memphis 59' ES335 VOS. Sweetwater has a Rusty Anderson. I think it was $3,600 or $3,700. Try offering them $3000.
budglo
I agree with the Rusty Anderson. I think it has the 59 neck. I have a Dot RI and the neck is slim. Rusty Anderson is alot of guitar for the money.
Danny W.
When I think Grant Green, I think ES-330 with P90's. Danny W.
