onewilyfool
I must admit that with all the names and models that Gibson has, I am not familiar with the entire line.......but it seems that these guitars sizes are definitely missing from their line-up....OM, OOO, or Concert. The 185 and 165 have the deep sound box and don't really fit into this size category.....the L-00 size is smaller too. What gives.....These sizes are comfortable to play, great over all guitars......just seems to be a gap in Gibson's family....
jgwoods
Viewed the other way around Martin, Taylor and others are missing the LG size, J-45 short scale, J-165, J-185, J-200 sizes. Different families of instruments, different tones, that's why I have one Martin and one Gibson- they don't compete, they compliment each other.
