Pesh Posted August 3, 2014 Share Posted August 3, 2014 Hi all; recently acquired a 2014 LP Studio, and being the curious sort I took off the back control cavity plate to see one of those plates with all the wiring mapped out, rather than the classic wires-everywhere affair. I notice that the pickups (a set of 490's) have something similar to what looks like Gibson's Quick Connect system on some of their most popular pickups. However the images I've seen of Quick Connect pickups shows a different plug, that would look incompatible with the board in my Studio. Is anyone more in the know on this; are the 2014 Studio 490's part of the same scheme, making customisation quick and easy, should I need / want to? Sorry if this is a duplicate posting.
