roberto
Hi all, I have a 2001 Custom Shop Quilted Hummingbird. I'm a bit worried because it has a slight crease running along the grain of the top to the bass side of the bridge. When strung there is a slight dip on the same side around the sound hole. I'm pretty sure one or some of the bracings have become unattached, though I'm not sure which ones. There is a slight creaking sound if i push on the top around the soundhole, and the guitar seems to choke slightly if I play a G on the low E string. What I really want to know is if this is repairable and what's the best way to go about it, as it's a lovely guitar and I don't want it to get any worse... Hope you can help. ojgp
A decent luthier should be able to patch things up for you. Sound like it's drying out...do you use a humidifier? If not you should. GP
