bobtheslob
I have an epiphone PR350S and some of the frets are worn.- not badly, but some strings are buzzing. My plan is to hand-lap the fretboard and dress up the fret crowns. Can anybody tell me what the fret radius is for this model? Thanks.

lucille64
this may be worth the investment http://www.stewmac.com/Luthier_Tools/Tools_by_Job/Fretting/Measuring/Radius_Gauges.html unless someone has one and knows the radius. I own those gauges and my Masterbilt DR500 measures out at a 14" radius but My Lucille is at 12" so different models due vary.
bobtheslob
Thanks, I looked at the tools, but I don't fancy shelling out for gear I'll only use once or twice, so I made a 12" radius from a lath, carpet tack and scalpel, cutting the profile on some card. (should have thought of this before - it only took about 5 minutes) Anyway result is that the radius is indeed 12 inches. I grind glass for a living, so I can make jigs for the lapping.
