And exactly why I told a friend, if you have questions, go to the forums! rct, you definitely opened my eyes, because whenever I go to my favorite candy store (guitar shop), I always see people sitting down when trying a guitar, and I do so myself. I will now be bringing a strap with me...Really feel a bit stupid that I haven't thought to do so before. And yes, bows to you all, well deserved. tc rocker Posted October 13, 2014 Share Posted October 13, 2014 I have a 2005 les paul with a 50's neck which seemed wide till I got a 2008 SG with P90's, with a fat and deep neck. That neck even feels more comfortable in my hands. I have a friend that let me borrow a strat of his which was like a top end of a baseball bat, too much neck.
