KCMike
I recently obtained a nice 94 LP Studio. I didn't notice at first, but after I started playing for a while, I noticed that the fretboard smells like cigarette smoke Is there anything I can use to safely clean this? Thanks! cjsinla
I just bought a Junior from a smoker. I cleaned it with polish and windex on the finish but letting it air out is working better. You might try oiling the fretboard, the oil should clean it up and also overpower the smell.
darkside mike
i'd also add that a good fretboard cleaning using ultra fine steel wool (rub with the grain) would get old smelly finger cheese off of there. Then apply lemon oil.
