D28boy
I've recently bought an old JCM900 1960A cab for live use and I found it sounds quite thin and trebly compared with the 1936 V that I have for bedroom use. Someone suggested that it could be due to a failing input plate on the cab. What is the forums opinion on this as I'm a newb in this respect and although I know that the mono/stereo switchs have a bad reputation for breaking I've not heard of them affecting tone. fyi the cab sounds ok and loud enough just very trebly...
