UrbanZ
Hi, it's my first post here. I need some help on Epiphone ES-175 with P-90 and Bigsby. I don't find any information on these, all semm to be with humbuckers and non tremolo tailpiece, but I'm not sure if seller knows everything about the guitar, he just said that everything is original. If anyone has any info on these, please help. The asking price is almost 600€ (with case), some ES-225 models sell for around 800 here. Jim Heath used a Gibson with Bigsby and P-90s before. Thank you!
PeteWilson
First of all, Welcome to the forum! It appears to me that the guitar pictured is an ES-295, not an ES-175. Of course, I am going by the pictures and by looking up the ES series on Epi-Wiki. The 175 has always had humbuckers and no bigsby. I think what you have or are looking at is an ES-295. Of course, it probably says what it is on the label inside the guitar... Hope this helps. Pete
UrbanZ
Thank you. I sent a message to the seller if he could give me exact model name that's on the sticker. I will also ask him about the headstock. I don't find anything about sunburst ES-295s. 295s also have plastic tuner buttons. ES-295 were mainly Korean made, weren't they?
