Wayne Posted January 21, 2009 Share Posted January 21, 2009 I mentioned in another thread that the J-45 at my Best Buy has a mudburst. Its a drab yellowy-brown. Why? It isnt that lovely yellow-orangeish color that I associate with Gibson's bursts. Do they do different color bursts regularly or is this a fluke? Sunburst is as subjective as Bridge pins (eeek!), and one person's "mudburst" is anothers "beautiful sunrise" (that's a rubbish analogy, but you get my drift)...
