kilohertzz
Here is mine: 1978 - Gibson Les Paul - Artisan - Sunburst Finish - Not all original, as you can see with a coil tap switch installed...! Has a crack at the switch, such a shame!!!

sparquelito
kilohertzz, Beautiful guitar, I love it. Did you do the coil-tapping switch modification yourself, or did you buy it that way? I once helped a friend with a similar crack in the top of his Les Paul (bear in mind, this was an Epiphone, not a regular Gibson model). First, we squeezed-in just a thin line of Crazy Glue. Filled the crack from stem to stern. The glue seeped down, and firmed-up the crevice. We let that dry for an hour. Then we obtained shades of Crayola crayons, of all things, that came close to matching the wood tones, and rubbed them in to fill the crack completely. Buffed off the excess crayon substance from the shiny surface. Then we waxed over the repair with good carnauba car wax, and buffed it off with a good, soft cloth. The end result was surprisingly nice, and the guitar feels and sounds great. :)
