Randmo Posted June 8, 2015 Share Posted June 8, 2015 I currently have 10's on my Les Paul, what is the heaviest gauge the guitar will take? I mostly play my acoustics, I have a heck of a time with the high e on my electric. I always seem to slide the e string off of the neck enough that it sounds way off. just seems so flimsy compared to my acoustic 12's. I'm wondering if heavier strings would help.
