First I want to say hello to all.

Last month I got my first acoustic guitar for gift, songwriter deluxe studio. I was doing plenty of research before that, choosing between Taylor, Martin & Gibson and Gibson was best guitar for the money (choosing all gloss ,sitka/rosewood/mahagony guitar). I tried j-45, j-15, j-29 and songwriter deluxe studio. The best one for me, playing and soundwise was songwriter for sure.

Im really happy and im enjoying the guitar alot.

I Took some pictures from inside and I wanted to ask what the 5a: SW under the bridge means? SW is probably short for songwriter, but what about 5a?

Im just curious. 😊

Hey, welcome to the forum. Glad you've got yourself a killer guitar. I don't know the answer to your question, but I won't be surprised if someone in here does. Lots of guitar and particularly Gibson knowledge in here.
