Sleeko
Reverse the tailpiece forks and you have what appears to be a very clean looking Vintage Cherry Sunburst. Not sure of the year but the older volume and tone placement. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Epiphone-Emperor-Regent-Jazz-Korean-1990s-Vintage-/322109412263?hash=item4aff3793a7:g:NJgAAOSwcL5XOIHt
bacongrease
Here are mine - A natural '97 from the Peerless plant and from the Saein plant, an '05 in Vintage Sunburst Lovely. I just purchased a Peerless. I'm picking it up this weekend. Can't wait! I've owned Regents in the past & sold them. I decided to sell some music gear and get just one guitar. I'll have pics up after the weekend so I'm not all hat no cattle.

Sleeko
I notice you've got the forks reversed on the tailpiece bacongrease. Notice a big difference in the tone? Thank you 😎

bacongrease
I'm guessing here: the forks as I have them increases tension on strings 4-6 but what's that do for tone? Tighten up the bass?

bacongrease
Thanks. I left them as they are and put on new strings. I really like these Thomastik Jazz Swings (11-47). Very lively, good mids, good clarity.

bacongrease
Those Thomastiks are very good and they last and last. I use the 13's on all of my guitars. That's a heavy gauge--too tense for me. Too late now but I wonder if I should've switched the forks back to the original way.

I think you should be ok if you want to switch the forks out. I've never had these strings break on me.

Sleeko
Yes indeed. Now you know why I regretted trading mine in when I bought my L4CES.

Sleeko
Yes a nice step up but I like the very different sound and feel of the Emperor. It's quite large and has a nice acoustisonic snap.
