Here are mine -

 

A natural '97 from the Peerless plant

Lovely.

I just purchased a Peerless. I'm picking it up this weekend. Can't wait!

I've owned Regents in the past & sold them.

 

I decided to sell some music gear and get just one guitar. I'll have pics up after the weekend so I'm not all hat no cattle.

I'm guessing here: the forks as I have them increases tension on strings 4-6 but what's that do for tone? Tighten up the bass?

 

Sounds about right to me there bacongrease.

Thanks.

I left them as they are and put on new strings. I really like these Thomastik Jazz Swings (11-47). Very lively, good mids, good clarity.

 

Those Thomastiks are very good and they last and last. I use the 13's on all of my guitars. [thumbup]

That's a heavy gauge--too tense for me.

 

Too late now but I wonder if I should've switched the forks back to the original way.

 

I think you should be ok if you want to switch the forks out. I've never had these strings break on me. [thumbup]
