357bullfrog
My p93 is full hollow on both upper and lower front bouts so here's the question . Can I remove the center pickup and use the middle pup volume pot as a master volume up front and move the toggle to the upper bout ? I've herd mine has plug in electronic connections but I ain't sure. What's yalls thoughts ?
charlie brown
You could (it's your guitar, you can do anything you want), but...WHY? The P-93 Riviera is great, just as is! Both Epi/Gibson tones, and some "Gretsch like" tones as well. But, "different strokes, for different folks," as they say. Want a "Master volume," get a volume pedal. 357bullfrog
I just like the looks of the 6120 set up is the only real reason. Kinda stupid reason I recon but I'm a tinkerer at heart . I do like my riviera a lot tho
iankinzel
I'd just convert one of the tone knobs to master tone, and the other tone knob to master volume and otherwise leave it as-is. When you've got a good thing, just love it and don't f--- it up.
Pesh
It's only got 1 tone already, which is a master tone. I'd say go with a volume pedal.
