egr403
Hi All, bought this last year online, it was sold as a B-25 n 3/4, but after doing some research I came to the conclusion I own a B-15. I kind of learned to like the roughness of its sound, maybe because I'm into rough country blues :) It's not the brightest instrument I ever played though... Anyway, would appreciate any input on year of making, and any general knowledge about the instrument I own. Thanks! Elad G.
OldCowboy
This model was produced beginning in 1967 and was discontinued in 1971. 6 digits on back of headstock suggests late 1960's production - maybe someone else on the forum can pinpoint the year more definitely, but that's the best I can manage off the top of my head. Should be a good little blues box, as you mention. If you ever want to brighten the sound a bit, you might try replacing the wooden saddle - there are some modern alternatives available as direct replacements. Hope this helps!
