shady360
Hi all. I have a LP Custom that fell off a stand and cracked the headstock. I had it repaired by a Gibson guy in southern NJ. He did a great job; if you didn't know it was broken you probably wouldn't even notice. Problem is, I can't keep it in tune/intonated. I've set it up myself, and had it professionally setup and no one can get it right. My bandmates keep b*tching at me to get rid of it. Aside from sending it back to Gibson, is there anyone that can replace the neck, refinish the guitar, AND restamp the serial number?? I had the factory quote me and it was almost as much as I paid for the guitar new! Please, I love this guitar and don't want to have to stop using it!! Thanks in advance. phil325
i'm guessing the intonation problems were after the headstock cracked? what about the other aspects to tuning (were the keys, the nut, bridge, etc. affected in anyway)?
