hiu Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Hi everyone, i just purhased a used gibson tal farlow, the serial number is 22360009. and it doesn't have the words "made in usa" printed on the back of headstore. what doesn;t that mean, is that usual that the year 2000 guitar doesn't have that word printed or it mean my guitar didn't make in USA? and also , does anyone know the speci of my guitar? sincerely hiu
cody78 Posted August 6, 2016 Posted August 6, 2016 Your Tal was made in the USA. They don't have a 'made in the USA' stamp on this model. Not all of them have serial numbers on the back of the headstock either. My 2010 ES-5 and 2015 L5CES don't have anything on the back of the headstock. The specs of a 2000 Tal should be the same as the current specs, which you can find here... http://www.gibson.com/products/electric-guitars/archtop/gibson-custom/tal-farlow.aspx Congrats on picking up a beautiful guitar. Tal's are great.
