pauliepaulie
Is anyone using flat wound strings on their Epiphone? I've ordered a set of Thomastik Infeld JS112s for my Dot and am curious. I've recently put a set of JS111s on my Tele and quite like them. ta, paulie

They seemed very stiff to me, but they did sound good.
Brian Cecil
I've been using the TI George Benson 12 flats on my Sheraton for over ten years. I completely re-did my set-up when I put them on, but probably just a simple truss-rod adjustment would have been sufficient. I like them so much I've changed to JS10s on all my other guitars (Strats, Teles, ES-335s, etc, except for a Rickenbacker 12-string), and I change to those strings on each new guitar I get. So I guess that pretty much shows how much I personally like them .
