ducrot59
I sent a 1951 CF-100E to Gibson for evaluation and repair in March. It needed to be virtually rebuilt and the repair list was extensive (and expensive). I agreed to the recommended repairs and was told in June it would take about 3 months. As of Christmas I still have not received it, nor a credible explanation for the delay, other than they had to move and it delayed them six weeks. A week ago I was told they were "checking". retrorod
Just curious...what was the nature of the repairs agreed to? Complete rebuild sounds major. Beyond the abilities of a competant local luthier?
