I sent a 1951 CF-100E to Gibson for evaluation and repair in March. It needed to be virtually rebuilt and the repair list was extensive (and expensive). I agreed to the recommended repairs and was told in June it would take about 3 months. As of Christmas I still have not received it, nor a credible explanation for the delay, other than they had to move and it delayed them six weeks. A week ago I was told they were "checking".

Any suggestions?

No suggestions, but to which Gibson facility did you send it? I assume Montana?

Do you have pictures of the guitar to share?

Keep us up-dated on the results, please.

I sent it to Nashville. The Gibson repair facility was separate from the factory when I sent it, but they are now together. Picture attached.post-90384-056310900 1546431247_thumb.jpg
