VBB
Hi, I keep reading that Gibson will only do (x) for original owners of robots. Do I have to register my GOR with them? I'm the only owner, but didn't want to send in warranty card because I want to keep it blank with the other case candy in case these are worth something in 30 years. PMossberg
Hi, Off -hand, I would say you have to register the guitar to receive any support from Gibson. You should be able to register on-line... http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Support/WarrantyRegistration/GibsonUSARegistrationForm/
elantric
Yes - register online - if the neck warps in 8 years , and you never registered the guitar, you may be challenged that you actually the original owner - and refused service. Keep the card - register online http://www.gibson.com/en-us/Support/WarrantyRegistration/GibsonUSARegistrationForm/
CharlieP
Most anything you buy now days you can register online and keep the card. There is always a web address for registration of most items. Just Look at any registration card and it will give you the choice of online reg.. Yes, you should register. Also I doubt that card in 30 years is going to make any difference in value. I bought mine to use, not to display. The old used instruments that are tried and true are holding there value.
argutus
I had asked a Gibson CS person just that same question. He replied. All you need is proof of purchase. A Sales receipt.
