help identifying Epiphone/Gibson LP

Hi,

I recently came into a guitar through a garage sale, and I have no idea what it is. It says Epiphone on the headstock, but Gibson on the truss rod cover.  There are no other identifying marks. It can't be a very good model as it has a bolt on neck, although it seems to have dual hum buckers and a decent bridge and tail stock and also what appears to be a rosewood neck. Plays well enough, and the electronics are solid and as I only payed $25 for the thing, I figured I couldn't go too wrong.  Standard, unbound single cutaway LP with What I think is a serial number of 70047.  I think it's pretty old, as I cannot find anything anywhere about it and I've scoured the internet.  Hope somebody can help me out. See pics attached.
