Epiphone Les Paul

I'm looking at a used Epiphone Les Paul. The owner lists it as a 1960 model made in the U.S. but I doubt it. The number is  110423091. Can you tell me the date and country/factory of origin? Thanks.

Only Gibson brands made Les Pauls in 1960.  There were no Epiphone brand Les Pauls in 1960.  All Epiphone Les Pauls started circa 1990’ish and have all been made overseas, not in the US.  In 1960, Epiphone had a different model with a different name than a Gibson Les Paul that was in the same Kalamazoo, Michigan plant as the Les Paul, but it was not named a Les Paul.  For more info about electric Epiphones made in Kalamazoo you might want to post in the Gibson electric forum and/or the Epiphone electric forum, rather than this acoustic forum.
