Beaux Posted November 4, 2020 Share Posted November 4, 2020 (edited) Hi, In 1997 I purchased a brand new re-issued 1960 Les Paul Special double cut cherry red serial number 94***** and I was told it was from the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville. *The store I bought it from was a reputable store. Were any of the early CS models issued with "normal" serial numbers? I saw a another one like it built on the same day and it was worth quite a bit more than other comparable models and it was sold as a Custom Shop LPSpec.
