Marcus Nalgaber
Tick Tock A woman’s laughter in the street Night moves slowly in the hall casting shadows on the walls while I look at you sitting on the couch prisoner of my storms smoothing wrinkles that don't exist in my pants as if it was something important at the time Something deep in my throat prevents me from speaking although I really don't know what to talk about It's cold in my hands it's cold in your eyes it's cold in this room now empty of warmth I look out the window at the house in front as you gaze at your phone two different scenes in which we can get lost surrounded by the silence through which it clicks the clock tick tock tick tock tick tock Seconds that make minutes minutes expanding time nothing more than this A woman's laughter In the street pulls me out of my abstraction and now my attention goes moving on with her footsteps with the rhythm of the tick tock tick tock tick tock tick tock Regards, Mora and Marcus
