Guest col
G'day, I'm the owner of a epiphone les paul (left handed) which i bought a couple of years ago here in oz. I've been told that these things actually have a photographic print bonded onto the wood. This one looks real nice and if i didn't know better it looks like a nice piece of fiddle back wood. I know it isn't that or i wouldn't have got it for the price. Can anyone confirm this to be the truth or not. Also, i'm thinking of putting new pickups in it, seymour duncans maybe. is it worth doing this, and which type would be best. i generally play rythym in my band and i'm looking for a nice bit of crunch and some mellow clean tones. any advice is greatly appreciated. col
?_?
It's most likely topped with a maple veneer.
